Anthropologie necklace

I had a few minutes tonight with just my youngest daughter home. She wanted to make a craft. So after googling and pinteresting, we found this cute necklace tutorial inspired by some that are sold at Anthropologie. Less than an hour later, we had this made, not perfect, but she's pretty happy with it and can't wait to wear it.

Wool Dying

This month for my group meeting with Material Girls Idaho, we are having a wool swap in order to make a cute penny rug. Lori, from the group has posted a great tutorial for dying wool with KoolAid  or Wilton Icing colors so that we can use our wool finds from thrift stores and come up with a variety of fun colors. Below are pieces of wool that Rachel, another Material Girl, dyed with her thrift store finds.
